Post-production

Post-production is the editing to the actual scene such as enhancing colour done after a film or series. The post-production of Utopia was to enhance the colour to give it that comic book look, this allows a editor to change the overall look and feel of the scene. Post-production allows the director to achieve a scary look, for example, by making it darker or adding a non-diegetic sound. In our post-production we will add non-diegetic sound and make the film a lot darker to add tension to our thriller. We hope by toning down the colour it adds an element of fear and suspense. The sounds that we have put over the top should also help to achieve this.
